The title track to the MANWHORE album was the last song written for the album, even though the name had already been chosen for months based on the unifying emotional themes that recurred in the vignettes the songs embodied. The original recording was marred by the fact that, because Adam and I were recording it in England, I couldn’t get back to fix my scratch vocals, which had wildly varying tempos and rhythms. Adam, therefore, had to build the arrangement around a rhythmic
“Halcyon Daze” technically belongs to a collection of songs called SURVIVING THE JONESES, which is about addiction. The album was originally recorded in the late 90s, but when Adam Silverstein and I began writing and recording MEMOIRS OF A MANWHORE, I began to rework the old recordings, and also wrote four new songs for the collection (and removed a few songs that didn't quite fit; one or two of those wound up on MANWHORE). “Halcyon Daze” was one of the new songs, and it’s be

We don’t have a full album of new material yet, but Adam and the band and I have been recording new material and re-recording some older material with the full band. So, to that end, our digital-only release, Ce N’est Pas Un Album: Hordes of Slaughter Sheep arri
I'm very honored to have been featured in Monmouth County's Two River Times very recently. The article is now online, so here is the link if you'd like to read it (if you missed it in print, you're probably a little late to pick up a hard copy). A very special thanks to Chris Spiewak for taking the time to interview me and then flesh out the interview into such a glowing feature.
